Lesley Smith graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and worked in the Public and Private sector for 9 years before she immigrated to NZ . She registered with the NZ Physiotherapy board in 2000. She is a member of the NZMPA and PNZ .

Lesley enjoys working with people, and loves the challenge of problem solving.  She has a hands-on approach, using manual and manipulative therapy along with Soft Tissue and Trigger Point release techniques, Dry Needling and exercise prescription to help people get back to what they enjoy doing in life. She has just begun to explore a Functional Movement Approach and is enjoying the challenge of integrating this approach into her assessment and treatment plans.

She enjoys treating all Musculoskeletal Conditions and  Sports’ Injuries. She has a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and thoroughly enjoys seeing her patients recover from injury. Alongside Maggie, she overseas the Koha Physio service at Piki te Ora Health Centre in Linwood.

Lesley is married to Paul and has 3 growing sons. She enjoys playing tennis, running, walking and being outdoors. She is now a dog-lover too.
